Eligible Job Classifications

Entry-level classifications within the City are eligible for Veterans’ Preference.  The City of Modesto Human Resources Department will add five (5) percentage points to the eligible list score of qualified candidates who are Veterans, as defined in the California Government Code.  The list below contains job classifications for which Veterans’ Preference points may be awarded.
