Modesto, a favorite Amgen Tour of California alumni city, was honored for the opportunity to once again host America's greatest cycling road race. In May, 2017 we hosted the Stage II Start of the race with an exciting Lifestyle Festival, Classic Car and Bike Show and even a Community Cruise along the official route! Tour officials tell us that Modesto offers a wide variety of unique challenges and scenery in addition to unmatched ability to cater to every need.
