Write-In Candidates for the November 8, 2022 General Municipal Election
The Write-In Candidacy Period is Monday, September 12, 2022 through Tuesday, October 25, 2022. Interested persons should contact the City Clerk as early as possible to schedule an appointment to obtain and file papers and qualify to be a write-in candidate.
Write-in votes will be counted and certified only for qualified write-in candidates who file the required forms with the Elections Official no later than 14 days prior to Election Day. (Election Code Section 8600-8606.)
