Fire Safety Art Contest 2023

Contest Age Groups

5 to 8 years
9 to 12 years
13 to 17 years

Theme

Your artwork should be based on fire safety. Here are a few examples:

Stop, Drop, and Roll
Test your smoke alarms
Plan your escape
Close before you doze
Be smart, don't let fire start

Requirements

Drawing size: 8.5" x 11" (landscape orientation), one sided

Tagline: "Fire Safety 2023". Name, age, and tagline must be included anywhere on the drawing.

Details

Entries will be screened based on message and creativity by our Fire personnel. We will select four finalists from each age group that will be put to a Community Choice vote on social media. The highest voted contestant will be the community Choice Winner, and their artwork will be created into a 8.5"x 11" magnet to be worn by MFD's engines during the month of October.

Prizes and Recognition

All finalists will receive a certificate and a letter from our Fire Chief. The Community Choice Winner will receive a certificate, letter, an invitation to meet the Fire Chief and get a tour of one of our fire stations! All entries will be displayed in our Administration office for everyone to admire. Come and check them out during the month of October!
