Modesto's annual Celebration of Lights, "Toys, Trains and Candy Canes" theme for 2023, is scheduled for Saturday, December 2, 2023. Join us at 5:30 PM for our annual Holiday Parade.
Entry Information and Parade Rules
Remember to keep the theme, "Toys, Trains, and Candy Canes”, in mind as you plan and design your entry. Your entry will be judged based on your use of the theme, lights, music and other general areas.
The Parade will begin at 14th & I Street at 5:30PM.
Floats will travel West on I Street to 10th, North on 10th Street to J Street and East on J street to 17th Street.
Road Closures
1:00 pm- Road Closures begin
14th-16th between I and H Streets.
4:00 pm -All closures will be in place
10th - 17th Streets between K St & H St.
Entry Deadline
Entries are accepted on a first come, first served basis. The deadline for applications is October 27th, 2023. Applications submitted after this date are subject to a $20 late fee.
