Facilities

Station 1 houses 1 Engine Company, 1 Truck Company, and Battalion 1. Rescue 1, Brush 1, and Water Rescue 1 are cross staffed by the Station 1 personnel. Station 1 is located in Downtown Modesto and has provided fire protection to the city since 1875. There have been 3 different Modesto Station 1 firehouses. The original was housed at the 800 block of 10th Street and was replaced in 1910 to a building at 715 10th Street. The current Station 1 was built in 1939.
