Recycling Trailer and Mascots for Special Events
The C
ity of Modesto has free custom-made recycling trailers designed to recycle cardboard and beverage containers in the form of CRV plastic, cans and bottles. Each trailer has an overall capacity of 14 cubic yards or 4.5 cubic yards per compartment. It will not be necessary to purchase or store any special recycling containers for your event. Our staff will deliver and pick up the trailer and/or recycling bins at your event and take the material to be processed. Our special event recycling is created to accommodate the recycling needs for festivals, concerts, sporting events, large school events, parades and much more, reducing costs for event producers and keeping recyclable materials out of our landfills! All proceeds are matched dollar for dollar by O'B Green O'Brien's Market and support the City of Modesto’s “Adopt A Park Program.” Newly added are our recycling characters: a glass bottle, aluminum can and plastic bottle. Please invite them to your next special event to encourage recycling and to be a part of your waste reduction efforts in Modesto.
