Bio
Nick Bavaro was first elected to the Modesto City Council in November 2022 representing District 4. Prior to his election to the Council, Nick Bavaro served as a Trustee on the Empire Unified School District for twenty years and the City of Modesto Planning Commission for almost four years.
Nick Bavaro is President/CEO of Bavaro Gingerich Employee Benefits and has been an employee benefits professional for nearly forty years.
Nick Bavaro is a lifelong resident of Modesto, attending Stanislaus Union and Grace M. Davis High School. He earned his bachelor's degree in political economics from the University of the Pacific and his MPA degree from the University of Southern California.
Nick Bavaro has been married to Diane Ericson Bavaro for over forty years and they have two children and four grandchildren.
