Downtown Streets Team
The Downtown Streets Team program provides homeless and those at-risk of homelessness with volunteer opportunities for beautification projects and litter abatement around the community. In exchange for volunteer efforts, the Downtown Streets Team participants receive weekly stipend cards that cover everything from bus passes, phone service, food, medication, enrollment fees for employment training courses that are funded by the Downtown Streets Team program.
Ready to Work
The Ready To Work (RTW) program opens the doors of hope, transformation, and stability to formerly homeless and incarcerated men – rebuilding, restoring and revitalizing their lives. (partnership with DST)
VOLT Institute
VOLT Institute is an advanced manufacturing training center. VOLT offers fastpaced training for high-wage, in-demand careers. VOLT's Industrial Maintenance Mechanic program is designed to provide hands-on training on industrial systems and equipment. The curriculum guides students through the basics and proper installation repair, and maintenance of: Print Reading, Fasteners, Machine Tools, Pumps, Mechanical Drives, Pneumatic Systems, Hydraulic Systems, Safe Welding, Electrical Theory, Mechanical Bearings, Production Assembly, Programmable Logic Controls and Process Controls.
Bay Valley
Bay Valley Tech Code Academy program includes a 16-week tuition-free Digital Design & Marketing Course. This course is designed to expose local adult students to in-demand digital careers and prepare them for internships/entrylevel positions as digital designers and digital marketers.
