The above featured design is the winning concept for the playground renovation for this site and the project is expected to be bid out for construction in winter 2025. The playground is currently open for public use.
Project Information
With voter approved Measure H, the City will be able to renovate various amenities in our park system. The various Playground Renovation Projects consist of removing the existing sand at specific playgrounds, removing all existing playground equipment, installation of new drainage sumps, installation of new playground equipment, installation of new concrete ADA ramps and installation of new playground wood chips.

Voting for this playground renovation took place from April 11, 2025, to May 5, 2025. A total of 581 votes were received and the winning concept received 60% of the votes.
