The construction contract for the playground replacement has been awarded, and construction is projected to begin in spring 2026. The playground is currently open for public use.
Project Information
With voter approved Measure H, the City will be able to renovate various amenities in our park system. The various Playground Renovation Projects consist of removing the existing sand at specific playgrounds, removing all existing playground equipment, installation of new drainage sumps, installation of new playground equipment, installation of new concrete ADA ramps and installation of new playground wood chips.

Voting for this playground renovation took place from April 11, 2025, to May 5, 2025. A total of 293 votes were received and the winning concept received 85% of the votes.
