Project Status and Updates
The Mancini Park Playground Renovation Project consist of relocating the existing playground site closer to the Herndon Avenue parking lot. The new location will consist of installing the following new features: concrete playground curb, concrete walkways, concrete ADA ramps, drainage improvements, playground equipment, wood chips, benches, trash receptacles, shade trees and landscape.
The project will be constructed in phases, as funding becomes available. The current project budget will allow for construction of a portion of the new playground but depending on the bid prices received might not allow for construction of the full playground. Also, shade elements may be added in a future phase when funding becomes available.
Project Information
The project is currently in its design phase. Construction activity is anticipated to begin in Fall 2026. The existing playground is currently open for public use.
