Board of Building Appeals

Responsibilities
The Board of Building Appeals’ primary responsibility is to hear appeals from any person questioning an order of the City’s Chief Building Official related to building, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, dangerous building or housing codes. The Board recommends changes to the building codes as appropriate.

Regular meetings are held at 4:00 PM on the 4th Thursday of every month at Tenth Street Place, Community and Economic Development Department.
