What is the timeline for the application process to the completion of the repairs?

Approximate timeline for informational purposes only and is subject to change if additional factors arise. 

After applying for the program, you will need to schedule an appointment to submit complete application packet. From there the following items will occur within the timeframes below:

Packet Review and Processing Complete Application

Within 30 days staff will review packet and will process complete application.

Schedule Property Inspection

Within 7 business days of application approval, staff will schedule property inspection.

Determination of Scope

Within 5 business days of the completed property inspection, a scope of work will be determined for the project.

Committee Approval

Within 14 business days of determining the scope, the proposed project will be presented to committee for approval;

Walk Through

Within 10 business days of committee approval, a contractor walk through will be scheduled.

Selection of the Contractor for Project 

Within 10 business days of the walk through, a contractor will be selected based upon bid results, and loan documents signed.

Notice to Proceed

Within 10 business days of the contractor selection, the documents will be executed and recorded, and a Notice to Proceed issued.

Work Completed

Within 30 to 45 days of receiving the Notice to Proceed, work will begin and be substantially completed.

Final Inspection

Within 5 business days of completion, there will be a final Inspection, Notice of Completion, Warranty Information and closeout letter issued.
