Call 209-342-2244 or Submit Online. Please be prepared to give details such as size and location of the pothole. Be sure to mention if the pothole is large enough to be a road hazard. Street Services has a 24 hour service to repair road hazards.

For potholes in alleyways, please call Street Services at 209-342-2244 or Submit Online. The property owner is responsible for keeping the alley free of weeds and debris.

3. How can I get sand bags during storms?

City of Modesto residents can fill up to 20 sandbags per household free. Bags will need to be filled, so please bring your own shovel. For more information or if you have questions, view the website for Storm Related Support options or call 209-342-2244.

4. Who is responsible for damaged sidewalks?

The homeowner is responsible for reporting any damage to the sidewalk in front of their property. Please refer to the Municipal Code 7-1.302 - 7-1.304. Municipal Code 7-1.302 - 7-1.304.
